Still maintained

A template is a starting point, and a starting point that has not been touched in three years starts you three years behind. The dependencies have moved, the framework has had two major releases, and the first thing you do is a migration you did not choose. Everything in this collection has recent commits and a build that still completes. That is a lower bar than "actively developed" and a much more useful one: it means the first hour you spend is on your product rather than on somebody else's upgrade path. Freshness is not quality. A template updated last week can still be badly built, and a stable one that genuinely needed no changes is not stale. Both are judged here by hand, which is why this is a collection rather than a sort order.
